'Rumi's words rule over his listeners' hearts. If one listens to Rumi and doesn't feel the beauty and pain of love within him, he probably has no heart at all!'Thus begins Gurumaaji's album 'Rumi', the first ever translation of the Sufi mystic's soul stirring poems into the Hindi language. Listening to this album is nothing less than a journey into the world of dreams, of love and far beyond!
Ishq ka Khanjar is a poem where Rumi says that he finds himself worthless when he thinks of himself alone. The moment he realizes that he is not, he realizes his true worth! Rumi implores us to kill our little ego and gain the beautiful Emperor of Truth. In 'Iltaja' Rumi says that the path of love is beyond all traditions and religions, if you cannot think beyond hypocrisy, you are better off asleep! If you do not feel the pain of love, if you do not continuously search for the beloved high and low and pine for union with him, you are better off asleep!
'Justaju' is a song of surrender where Rumi gives his heart to his beloved Lord asking him to clear his heart of all doubt and mystery. 'Kaun Hun Main' is a song of silence , where all secrets are revealed! Rumi is madly in love with the divine and he urges seekers to leave the path of falsehood and hypocrisy and walk boldly on the path of love. The music of this album is contemporary yet nostalgic! At times the haunting melody takes you into the distant past where Rumi scaled dizzy heights of love and knowledge with his Master Shams.
At times, it brings you into the present where Gurumaaji, offers an enlightening and refreshing experience of Sufism for all seekers. And still other times, this album carries you into that oriental dream of love, where you could wake up from your sleep and find the beloved for yourself! .

Get to know God!
Wow, I really wish Guruma starts on a series on Rumi and brings more of excellent quality production like this. You can meet with God in it if you really sit focused listing to it. I can have enough of these 4 tracks by listening over and over again. Amazing Rumi and the presenter Guruma. Thanks Guruma.

Sufi Reflection
Some years back I listen a beautiful composition of instruments by Anand Shankar, but thereafter I have come to know the uniqueness of the best use of instuments in Merging me,Sunlight Ecstasy and Sunlight Dance. It is not necessary to always sing with music intruments, but sound composition itself- what you want for peace and prosperity.Exellent.

Good music
Good music but no songs in it. I suggest that you should include songs, if possible.
