Ramneek Singh

Singing Khayal, Thumri, Shabad-Kirtan, Sufiana and Folk with an acclaimed presentation style, with almost three decades of strict Indian classical training under her belt, Ramneek Singh is an estabilished vocalist from the Indore Gharana. She has widely performed in India and North America for many years. Born and brought up in New Delhi, India, Singh started her music instruction at the age of 6 and went on to advance her tutelage under the able guidance of Vidushi Amarjeet Kaur and Pt. Baldev Raj Verma, senior disciples of Pt. Amarnath and Ustad Amir Khan of Indore gharana. She lives her music through her school Sur-Rang and her performances, finding the challenge and discipline of Indian Classical Music, attractive and spiritually rewarding. She has performed in many music festivals in India, namely Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Samaroh and others. In a nutshell, her rich and diverse style of singing truly makes her versatile.
