Ameeta Parsuram 'Meeta' is a Psychologist by profession and has been involved in teaching, training and therapy for thirty years. As a Psychologist she has had an insatiable interest in understanding human relationships, especially from a woman’s perspective. Poetry is her passion. Meeta’s poetry is sensitive and is a vivid reflection of the experiences of human beings, touching the heart of every reader. Many listeners have found their voice through her kalaam. Meeta believes in the Guru-Shishya parampara and has been a Shagirda of Janaab Asif Kamaal, who is connected with Sarhadi Khamosh and Simaab Akbarabadi school of poetry. Her ghazals in 'Jo Aaj Tak Na Keh Saki' are a rare blend of the psychological and the poetic. It is for the first time that Meeta is sharing her kalaam with the masses, compiled as 14 ghazals which reflect the diverse emotions, dreams, conflicts and challenges experienced by women universally. The title ‘Jo Aaj Tak Na Keh Saki’ reflects Meeta’s abiding concern that no voice should ever be silenced.
